Police State UK.

This is what Denny and I have been working on for the last couple of weeks. It's still a bit buggy, and we haven't fixed the theme in IE 6 or for the subpages yet, but it's functional. Readers, commenters, and contributors are very much welcomed. Please, if you care about civil liberties and human rights in the UK, have a look and pass on the link.

There's an RSS Feed here; feel free to syndicate it. DW feed is [syndicated profile] police_state_uk_feed.

Thanks.

Looks really good. I'll look forward to seeing how it develops :)

I wonder if you've seen Simply Understand? It's run by someone I know, and while it doesn't take a political stance, it does translate consultations to do with policing-related issues, and, of course, it's trying to help people engage better with the political process, which is all to the good. The current poll for 'what should Corinne translate next?' includes one on 'Protecting crowded places' (from terrorist attack) which might be very relevant to your readers. I'm sure there's potential for some linking there.

Well, it's not the legislation itself, it's consultations on *new* legislation. So it's a way of saying to your readers 'A consultation is in progress on THIS relevant issue; here's the original document, here's the simplified one, have your say.'
