helenic: (sex baby yeah (by nightkitchen))
[personal profile] helenic

(from various people including [livejournal.com profile] mirabehn and [livejournal.com profile] the_alchemist)

in no particular order:

1. Heathcliff (Wuthering Heights)
2. Fitzwilliam Darcy (Pride and Prejudice)
3. Severus Snape (Harry Potter - not necessarily limited to canon, either) ... and Raistlin (Dungeons and Dragons - or rather, Dragonlance, as I've been somewhat embarrassingly reminded), who counts as the same character because of the obvious imitation :)
4. Captain Jas Hook (Peter Pan)
5. Captain Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean)
6. Han Solo (Star Wars)
7. Captain Jean Luc Picard (Star Trek: The Next Generation)
8. Willow (Buffy the Vampire Slayer; both Evil Vamp and the usual version)
9. Steerpike (Gormenghast - and no, not necessarily the Jonny version)
10. Camilla (The Secret History)

Hrm. I detect an inordinate number of men of military rank. Oh dear. And not that I'm feeling submissive at all at the moment ... ahem.

Characters omitted so as not to dominate the list with a single fandom/actor: Wickham (P&P), Willoughby - and Marianne, for that matter (S&S), Sirius and Remus, preferably at once (HP), any of Alan Rickman's characters ever (particularly Jamie from Truly, Madly, Deeply and the torturer from Closetland, but he even makes Brandon (S&S) sexy...!), Indiana Jones, Spike (BtVS), Henry (tSH).

Hee. Acronym central. I'm sure I've forgotten people. If there's anyone I clearly fancy the pants off whom I haven't mentioned, do remind me.

Edit: Wentworth. Rochester. Tomas, Sabina, Tereza. Leatherclad!Ezri. Ohh, I'm sure there's thousands.

I've just realised I forgot both Withnail and Peter. Scandalous! They're both clearly on the list.

There's something seriously wrong here.. I'd go for all of those except Heathcliff (As I havnt's read it.. *blushes*), Hook, and Camilla.
.. Other than that, good list sis!

hee! you have excellent taste, sir :)

I assume not Camilla because you haven't read it, rather than because you don't fancy her? Trust me, you so would.

Haha! I have to say that looking back at my list I really am not feeling subby. I think I'd let Eowyn or Fred top me if they wanted to, and Captain Sparrow and I would switch, but other than that... Rowr!

Heathcliff obviously, Darcy obviously, Han Solo or indeed anyone remotely like Harrison Ford obviously; I assume these don't need to be listed.

Snape? Are you weird?

Steerpike. Ooh. Lord, I admire the lad enormously, have always secretly wished myself to be a kind of Steerpike, but the actual physical seduction of the Lady Fuchsia was never very...

Darcy, boring, what about Captain Wentworth? And Anne? Don't deny it.

Obviously I'd top Camilla. Willow and I would switch. I think Jack Sparrow and I would have a sort of teasing cruel mutual romp. The rest would seduce me heartlessly. Ahh ...

*reminds self to stop fantasising scandalously all over livejournal*

ps. subby icon. just for you.

Snape: I am indeed, as you say, weird. Although it mainly springs from the fact I think he's the character most likely to be into BDSM ...

as for Steerpike, I'm clearly just attracted to ruthlessness, particularly when combined with sadism.

Oh, and of course Wentworth. Anne no, I'm afraid. Your wishful thinking decieves you! I will not tantalise your imagination with visions of me in Austen threesomes. Apart from me/Willoughby/Marianne. That one goes without saying.

Ahem. Much I would love to wipe any and all naughty HP-ness from my head ('specially since I don't always admit I've even read the bloody things), that Sirius/Remus doubleteam action makes me a mite wiggly.

Bad girl, libellum.

(Oh, and I'm so with you on the rest - but what about Captain Wentworth from Persuasion? WAY better than Wickham, at least ... although I would probably kill for a bit of that Darcy action, I would.)

Willoughby and Marianne? Jesus, I can hardly think of a worse threesome. They're the two most insipid gushy cack-handed idiots known to humanity.

(Come on, you didn't expect to get away with this without me sneering, did you? I didn't even mention the Harry Potter).

Most of that list is nice... especially fanfic Remus/Sirius... both at once *drooldrooldrool*. And Jack Sparrow too... with a whip...

But... Picard? Bald, English, and 5ft5... you could polish his head with a J-cloth! Picard?

*faints*

Raist isn't D&D, he's Dragonlance - entirely different thing!! ;-)

And yes, I'd do him too... ;-)

That's a very good list. If I had a list, it'd probably look a lot like that.

Oh, and art-fag.net, there seems to be something wrong with the mail. Do you know anything about it? xx

yeah but it was FAKE ok? FAKE!!!!

did I tell you about the time I went to GenCon 'cause Willow was going to be there, and my boyfriend and I spent, like weeks concocting ridiculous plans to kidnap her and make her ours, and then when we got there we realised it was Warwick Davis?

And he beat me at Magic: The Gathering. Stupid small people.

yes - I've already been reminded of my carelessness in leaving Wentworth off. Clearly I just want to be a naval wench, all my favourite characters have ships... ("ship" ... haha.)

Sirius/Remus ... don't even get me started. How great and t00by is Sirius and Remus' love? Greater than the greatest mountain peak, and vaster than the vastest valley in the sea! Is it hotter than a brush fire burning atop an oven in the Great Sahara Desert at midday in July? It is hotter than Mojave in our hearts! etc.

that is a very good point.

However, I defend my ignorance by pointing out I haven't read the things in ten years. Raist was my first ever crush. Gimme some licence here. :)

God, Raistlin... I'd forgotten him, poor love.

Whenever I try and do this meme, I either end up wanting to steal nearly everyone off everybody else's lists or having no ideas at all....

To be honest, I am shocked and appalled (shocked *and* appalled, note) by your inclusion of Jane Austen characters. They drink tea! They get their ankles broken by croquet mallets! They wave fans in a limp and pointless manner! They ride horses looking aristocratically strained! Nice comfortable toned body warm closeness is not on their agenda! Dammit, chanelling late night thinking again, never mind, perhaps no one will notice.. Mind you, I can never quite reconcile myself to Regency nightgowns. Maybe this is the deciding factor.

Jack Sparrow - phwoar. If only. I bet... no, am going to keep my scandalous fantasies internalised, you do enough spreading for the pair of us :)

*incredulous*

have you read any Austen? Any man whose name begins with W is a philanderer! It's common knowledge! Wickham has sex with 15-year-old girls! People get pregnant! Don't be silly; Austen may be civilised, but she isn't naive.
