Type "{yourname} needs" into Google and post the resulting sentences out of context. [Poll #584463]

More likely the latest Googletastic meme, according to which I need ... a homemade enema? *runs away*

Ohhhhh yes :)

And the fact that I'm still giggling every time I read the responses just demonstrates that it was worth it.

The Googletastic meme, by the way. Not the enema. Ow.

Thankfully the whole sentence reads Sarra needs A homemade enema (aka: prunes). ;)

Oddly enough, one of the sentences I didn't use was "All Helen needs is some industrial strength prune juice".

Made from industrial strength prunes, or something.

*Waves hi from friendsfriends list*

Don't know if any of those where tounge-in-cheek, (given I don't know you except the rare sighting on friendsfriends, I'm sort of having to take at face value) but if you have been ill then I can certainly recomend making the push to get out and spend time with folks.

Apparently it can keep you sane, too late for me but save yourself whilst you can :)

there's a certain amount of tongue in cheek, yes :)

It's a rather addictive and quite funny bandwagon that's hit my friendslist - you Google "{yourname} needs" and post the results. Sometimes in poll form.

I have also been ill. I was aiming for a subtle mixture of the ridiculous and the sublime ;)

Ah, not a bandwagon I've yet noticed, let alone jumped on.

Hope it works though as pretty young lassies look even prettier when smileing :)

a subtle mixture of the ridiculous and the sublime

*Glances at your F/L to see who it actualy is we have in common*
*Spots the sublime Nanny*
*Spots tim*

Yep, both boxes ticked there ;P

Particularly in one of those corsets that allows the more curvaceous woman to balance a pint on each shelf.

"Brewer! Brew me the best beer ever brewed, and bring it to me balanced on the breasts of a butt-kicking babe!"

I answered with the human contact one - but then, you might have to define human.... :}

What? Don't look at me like that, I've been reading Ofsted reports all day, it does this to a person! Honest.... /goes off, talking to the imaginary small animals...

You kow, i have used almost that same tone with the old girl and got slapped for it on many occassions :)

Maybe I get away with it because I don't call her an "old girl"? ;)

Possibly :)

Still it is fair, she's the only person in the world that gets away with calling me "child".

Ahahaha.

'Sam needs' comes out with far too many results being linked to Uncle Sam, but 'maga' comes up with much hilarity.

Uncle Sam is still a meme? Dear lord.

I think I should start a new LJ sheep where you have to photograph illustrations to each of the lines Google comes up with. Hehehehe.

I've been meaning to do some sort of photomeme for a while, but this only really works while Jacq's camera is within reach. Although to me that meme sounds more appropriate to a drawing meme, a la explodingdog.

These days, it would seem, 'Uncle Sam' appears principally as a semi-ironic synonym for 'the Almighty Fed' in political blogs and their spawn, usually when trying to condense their points into a convenient aphorism.

Of course you need Xena's help. Who doesn't need the help of a leather-clad goddess?

on 2005-10-06 07:47 pm (UTC)
Posted by [identity profile] libellum.livejournal.com
She's not a goddess, she's a hero. Heroine. You can tell the difference because goddesses are interested in men, and very rarely win the day. (Did you see the episode with the retelling of the golden apple? OMG, Athena was teh sexx0r).

Well great, there is a Councillor called Michael Needs. *rolls eyes*

"All Michael needs is to feel loved" sums it up :)

Failing that, Michael needs to find a way to separate the two lovers and at the same time to get rid of his enemies. :D

totally unrelated...
