The person in Manpower this morning told me they'd have no problem in finding me a job for the summer, which is one weight off my mind. To celebrate I bought a red cord skirt and a black and white striped vest top from oxfam, black combats for Student Cross (a necessary evil) and three new pairs of socks. When I told him on the phone Iain asked for some pictures, and it's been so long since I've taken any good ones of myself, I thought I'd put a couple here for the sake of posterity. I don't think you've ever seen me without makeup before.

I'm leaving in about two hours and I won't write in here again until after Easter, although I'll try and keep a notebook during the week. If you want to get in touch (or are just feeling nice) text me: 07734 465 487. x

On the left: The Dark Side. Sitting back, relaxed calm and with a slight hint of 'what are you looking at, mindeless peon?' which comes from the head being slightly tilted forward.

On the right: Helen as I have always seen her. Attractive, feminine with a touch of tomboy, a faint smile suggesting self-assuredness and perhaps amusement,and those eyes that draw you in. One for the collection methinks.

aww. you always know how to make me smile, you silly sweet thing. although I'd be careful what you write here; the boy reads it too, you know. when are you coming up to cam? you must get your ass in gear for once - I never see you and it's not for lack of trying, and we can go punting and such, it'll be grand. xxx
